Testosterone won the Further Flight Stakes for Ed Dunlop
Testosterone had not won since June 2011 but put that right in some style with an emphatic victory in the Further Flight Stakes at Nottingham...
The former French-trained filly showed she had overcome the problems that had troubled her since she joined Ed Dunlop's stable when outclassing her listed opposition.
At her best Testosterone had finished second in the Group 1 Prix Vermeille in 2011, and she showed a smart turn of foot to scamper three and a quarter lengths clear of Earth Amber.
The long-time leader Handazan was half a length away third with Cavaleiro fourth.
"She had to have a major sinus operation within a month of coming to us last year and she never recovered from it," said Dunlop.
"She'll probably step back in trip and stick to her own sex. The Lancashire Oaks is an obvious target for her. She ran in it last year when we were struggling with her and she was fifth to a very good three-year-old (Great Heavens).
