Timeform examine a race at Kempton on Monday
Timeform examine each runner in a seven-furlong handicap at Kempton...
Bravo Echo took advantage of lower turf mark to win twice at Goodwood in August/September, but handicapped to the hilt on this surface, and this far from easy return from an absence.
Galician progressed to score twice in 3-y-o handicaps over 6f in May, and several good efforts in defeat later in year, finishing runner-up at Newbury in October. Fully effective on polytrack.
Spirit of Sharjah is a hold-up performer who has a fine turn of foot when on song. A lot went right when fending off sole rival in a C&D minor contest in January, and dropped 2 lb after a respectable Lingfield run.
Roninski snapped a sequence of solid in-frame efforts after his Redcar win when seventh over C&D in December. Since left Bryan Smart, and this a competitive race on return to action.
Seek The Fair Land is pretty useful on AW, returning to his best to land a 6f Wolverhampton handicap for Jamie Osborne in January. Rare poor run having rejoined former handler last time, but type to bounce back.
Atlantis Crossing has improved since fitted with hood, continuing the good work for Roger Ingram this winter, adding to tally at Wolverhampton in January. Likely strong pace will suit havng rejoined Jim Boyle.
Light From Mars was back to winning ways for current yard in 7f claimer on Boxing Day, and has continued to thrive since, landing couple of C&D handicaps. Nothing wrong with latest sixth in listed company either.
Ortac Rock followed up impressive debut win in a Newbury nursery off 4 lb lower in September 2011 and only just touched off following month. Missed all of 2012 (gelded) but he's in excellent hands.
Forceful Appeal is an ex-French performer who made a fine start for current connections, landing hat-trick at Lingfield early in 2012. Gelded after a lesser run over C&D in November but well handicapped on return.
Lowther has got right back on track of late, winning twice over 1m and remains well handicapped on old form. Whether drop to 7f will suit is the major worry.
Kakatosi bounced back to form to make a winning start for new yard at Lingfield (6f) in December. Not in same form since, though, and hasn't been easiest to predict in recent times.
Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Atlantis Crossing
2. Seek The Fair Land
3. Light From Mars
Timeform View: Interesting what the market makes of Ortac Rock on his belated return to action, but Atlantis Crossing, Seek The Fair Land and Light From Mars all bring solid recent polytrack form to the table, and are selected in that order courtesy on the draw.
