As a certain high waisted one would say; 'That's three yesses, you're on your way to Hollywood'...or in this case Ffos Las, via Lingfield and Kempton.

Our lay of the day, Shernando, practically picks itself as it's pretty much the only shortish-priced drifter on offer. With question marks over this one's ability to handle soft going, our scientific weather gauge (ie. looking out of the window at Betfair Towers - not a million miles away from Kempton), suggests that a steady flow of rain all morning will contribute to a change of going. She saddles Scoter Fontaine in the handicap hurdle at 15:40 and there's been a move from 6.05/1 to 5.14/1 for the seven-year-old. He'll handle the soft ground and should enjoy the step up in distance so in a pretty weak field 5.14/1 still seems a fair price.
