Follow The Money: A layer-trouncing trainer double at Hereford

Have we found a pair of winners at Hereford?

We're backing in England, laying in Ireland. Read on for our three bets inspired by Betfair market moves...

Trainer Martin Keighley has a couple of market springers in the last two races at Hereford. In the 15:10 Ukranian Star has been backed from 11.010/1 in to 5.04/1. There's nothing in his recent form to inspire confidence, but note that he was cold in the market on those race days. And he is still second top weight, indicating easier opposition today. The blinkers are back on and, if the money is right, this front-runner will not see another horse today. Back him.

And follow up on Seymour Eric in the 15:40, now favourite at 5.24/1 having been matched at 13.012/1 in early trades. First runs for new trainers sometimes generate over-optimism, but this candidate ticks enough boxes for us to recommend a layer-trouncing trainer double.

Sandwiched between these two races, at 15:25 Navan, we have a negative move against Willie Mullins' Union Dues. A price slide from 2.226/5 out to 3.185/40 reflects the trainer's concerns about handling heavy going in what he describes as "a very hot bumper."
