Samollie goes very well around here and it is easy to put a line through his last run as he was eased off after being denied a clear run at a vital stage. He is only 2 lb higher than his last winning mark and is well capable of getting placed, at the very least, here.

Similar comments apply to Discovery Bay as he also goes well around here and didn't get the rub of the green on his latest start. Charlie Swan's gelding doesn't win very often but he has already been placed on a couple of occasions from similar marks to this already this year and he should be there or thereabouts again tonight.

Benbecula looks to have been found a good opportunity to open his account in the maiden at 21:00. Runner-up twice at Lingfield earlier in the year when trained by Richard Hannon, Benbecula was unsuited by the drop back to a mile when third to Epic Encounter here last time and he is sure to come on for that first start for seven months.
