Against All Odds: Goals to flow in Argentina

Agustin Marchesin should be tested tonight

After completing his seventh winner in a row yesterday, Paul Robinson is back with another odds-on lay as he takes us to Argentina where he thinks the goals will flow in Lanus' clash with San Martin de San Juan.

Lanus are flying under their new manager and they are up in third place in the league after picking up 26 points from their opening 14 fixtures. Guillermo Barros Schelotto currently has the club on a five game winning streak as they look to put last season's disappointing 10th place finish behind them.

As far as the goals go; three of their last half dozen have gone over 2.5, culminating in a 4-1 victory over Tigre this past Sunday. Things have been a touch quieter at their home of Estadio Ciudad de Lans though with just one match going over, however that has mainly been down to their opponents inability to score, something which San Martin de San Juan rarely struggle at.

In the opposing dugout tonight we have another new manager in the form of Gabriel Perrone. The Argentine was only appointed in September but he has already begun to turn round their dismal start to the campaign.

After beginning with five straight losses, San Martin de San Juan were rock bottom, however they've since lifted themselves up to 15th place, thanks to just two defeats in their last nine. Over 50% of their fixtures have had three goals or more so far this term and they've scored at least once in five of their seven trips away from Estadio del Bicentenario.

I can understand why under 2.5 goals is odds-on here, but there is no way it should be as low as 1.654/6 and that's why I'm making it my lay of the day.

Recommended Bet
Lay Under 2.5 goals in Lanus v San Martin de San Juan @ 1.654/6
