Newly relegated Tomsk travel to Volgar Gazprom this afternoon in the Russian First Division and while they are expected to win, Paul Robinson thinks they will struggle.
Volgar Gazprom are 11th in the table after picking up 16 points from their opening 14 matches. The story of the season for Khazret Dyshekov's side is that they have been solid at home but dire away.
On the road they have taken just three points from a possible 18 but at Central Stadium it's 13 from 24. They actually began their home campaign with two draws and a defeat, but since then, Volgar have won three and drawn two, with the two draws coming against top four teams.
Tomsk were relegated to this level last year but they have made an impressive start in their bid to go straight back up. They are second in the table, just one point behind leaders, Ural, with a game in hand.
Sergei Perednya's men have stuttered a bit recently though; four points from their last three matches, including a defeat in their last away fixture against Spartak Nal'chik.
Tomsk are undoubtedly the better outfit with the brighter prospects, but Volgar are in decent nick in front of their own fans and Tomsk are hardly bombproof on their travels. At around the 1.9620/21 mark, I have to make Tomsk my lay of the day.
