Argento Chase: Bolster to swerve Cheltenham

David Bridgwater's charge disappointed last time out in the King George VI Chase at Kempton but was supposedly due to head back to the scene of his career-best performance this weekend.

However, his owner Simon Hunt said the Betfair Denman Chase at Newbury in February, and a possible clash with Long Run, is now on the cards.

Hunt tweeted: "The Giant Bolster skips the Argento Saturday, will prep for the Denman at Newbury, want to have him spot on for another crack at the Gold Cup."

The Giant Bolster can currently be backed at 26.0n/a for the Gold Cup, with Bobs Worth heading the market at 4.4n/a.
